So Me Shoes (by Machi Footwear) is a wholesale shoe brand and supplier of fashionable and affordable women's footwear, based in the City of Industry, CA, that aims to be a one-stop shop for retailers and casual buyers! Operating from a showroom in the City of Industry and online, So Me designs a range of flats, sandals, heels, and boots each season. The company’s wholesale-retail model supplying companies globally(Forever21, Fashion Nova, & more!) and sells directly to customers requires versatile branding that appeals to a youthful, fashion forward audience. Partnering with their sales team allowed me to market widely on social media where I aimed to feature their on-trend silhouettes for both casual consumers and boutique businesses. So Me Shoes champions variety and accessibility, offering influencers, online shoppers, and retailers effortless access to the latest styles. Through our content and communications, we aimed to capture that spirit — helping people feel confident as they step into their day.

I shot product-first, with a careful focus on textures—leather, colors, stitching—and context (street-style, flat lays, lifestyle shoots). Retouching was used to eliminate small imperfections in finishing, ensuring product images matched expectations. Clean backgrounds, consistent lighting, and stylish staging conveyed both aspiration and trust.
I produced short video stylings: “1 shoe, 3 ways,” walk-throughs of product features, unboxing or packaging sequences. These offered dynamic engagement, showing the audience not just what the shoes look like, but how they move, feel, and integrate into daily style.
I showcased new drops, behind the scenes design tweaks, and customer wear-tests via Stories. These transient yet frequent touchpoints kept the audience engaged with the product lifecycle.
Ads promoted seasonal collections or flagship styles. The imagery and copy leaned into footwear details (material, silhouette) and fashion context (how to style, what outfits match), emphasizing value and design quality.
For my work with So Me Shoes, I built the brand's influencer presence from the ground up through direct, personal outreach. I individually researched & connected with fashion and lifestyle creators who matched the brand's trendy, accessible vibe while also being unique stylistically. My focus was on building real relationships where I personally managed every step, from ensuring they received the right styles to following up to make sure they were happy with their order. By maintaining great communication, I fostered goodwill that naturally encouraged them to feature the shoes in their Stories and Reels, generating authentic organic content without any sponsored budget.
